We only have one location. We are located near the intersection of Lake Boone Tr. and Blue Ridge Rd., across from Rex Hospital. You can easily reach us from both I-40 and I-440.

Office Hours
Our regular office hours are listed below. Whenever possible, we will also work children who need to be seen for an emergency need which can be addressed in our office into our schedule for immediate attention.

Our office is closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 pm on weekdays.
Appointments
Appointments and sick walk in times are for established patients. If you're interested in joining our practice, see here for instructions on how to register.
Contact us at (919) 881-9009 if you need to schedule an appointment for your child. All well check appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes and may also be scheduled via your child's patient portal. Carolina Kids offers appointments with additional time for complicated or chronic medical issues, including behavioral and developmental concerns.

Weekends
Weekend visits are scheduled same-day only for acute sick care, so please call us as early as you can during the hours listed below if your child needs a weekend sick appointment. Time slots are limited and fill quickly.
- 9 am - 12:30 am, Saturday and Sunday
Please call before 12:30 pm if your child needs a same-day sick appointment on weekends. We do not have walk-in hours on weekends.
Sick Walk In
Our sick walk-in times are as listed:
- 8:00 am -9:00 am, Monday - Friday
- 4:00 pm - 4:45pm, Monday - Friday
During these times, you may bring your child in without an appointment for an acute illness or health problem (if your child needs a well visit, or evaluation for a chronic or complex problem, please make an appointment instead of coming during the sick walk-in hour).
After Hours Advice for established patients
We will not charge our patients for after-hours telephone calls (unless the call results in a new medication being prescribed, in which case there is a nominal fee).
Hospital Affiliations
All Carolina Kids pediatricians have hospital privileges at Rex Hospital, and see newborn infants at the hospital 7 days a week.
